Agency Report

The police have again become the latest victims of arson as gunmen attacked Nkporo police station in Ohafia, Abia state and set it on fire.

Exhibits, including motorcycles and cars at the station were torched, while detainees were set free.

Nkporo is the hometown of Abia Deputy Governor Ude Oko Chukwu.

  1. The Fulani herdsmen can at least breathe a sigh of relief; they’re not accused of the killings and carnage going on in the southeast. The Fulani and Yoruba don’t have the numbers and resources the carry out the killings and carnage going on in the southeast and the Igbo are intelligent enough not to accuse either of them so therefore like the Ngbati people say, “kokoro ti nje efo ara efo l’owa” (the insect destroying the vegetable is hidden in the vegetable).
