The Senate has confirmed the appointment of Mr Haliru Nababa as Controller General (CG), Nigeria Correctional Service (NCS).

The confirmation followed the adoption of the report of the Senate Committee on Interior at plenary on Wednesday.

Presenting the report, the Chairman, Sen. Shettima Kashim(APC-Borno) said the committee found the nominee suitable to occupy the position of controller general of NCS.

  1. This nonsense MUST end. Nigeria MUST break up before their 2023. ENOUGH is ENOUGH. The North MUST go. BIAFRA and ODUDUWA coming up soon. Please intensify the agitation. Let them take their Nigeria with their Niger Republic neighbour.

  2. Nawaooo my brother. Everywhere one tribe. Really surprising that a man who got to the position of a General, a former Military Head of state will be so tribalistic as we have today. Sometimes, I begin to compare Shehu Yar’dua with our president from the same Katsina, the same Fulanis but two different characters. Every appointment, only kinsmen. Our Senate is not helping matters. Just Yes have and stamped. Lawan shall always be remembered for his ‘Yes hammer.’

  3. Another educationless Foolani in the saddle. We can’t wait for 2023 to see the face of Foolani losing power and removed from all MDAs.
