Fire guts Agboju market in Lagos

Adejobi Olumuyiwa: Lagos Police PRO confirms fire incident at festac market

Lagos police command, on Monday, confirmed that there was a fire incident at Agboju Market in Festac.

According to the police, the fire started at about 0230 hrs.

A statement signed by CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi said: “The command contacted the Lagos State Fire Service Operatives who responded swiftly. The fire was brought under control at about 0400 hrs of the same date.”

However, no life was lost to the incident but the value of property destroyed and cause of the fire incident not yet ascertained.

The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, CP Hakeem Odumosu, however, commended the police, Fire Service, LASEMA, NEMA, NSCDC and other agencies that came to the rescue at the scene for their steadfastness.

    It’s always fire outbreaks from one market to another.

    Whichever market that was engulfed in flames automatically becomes Tinubu’s unending property.

    Wherever you see calamities, Tinubu sees opportunities.

    Certainly, if there’s a beneficiary of fire outbreaks in Lagos markets, pointedly, there’s a motivation for arson.

    The Police in Nigeria are so useless they couldn’t effectively conduct investigations that could nail any high profile politician.

    What a country Nigeria has become under clueless and clannish Buhari.
