Prof. Bayonile Ademodi dies

Prof. Bayonile Ademodi, Ondo State Commissioner for Regional Integration and Special Duties, has died.

His death on Saturday was confirmed by Donald Ojogo, the state’s Commissioner for Information and Orientation.

Ojogo revealed this in a telephone interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday in Akure.

Ademodi was 68 years old, a professor of chemical engineering, and a native of Ondo town.

“No doubt, the sudden departure of Prof. Ademodi is one death too many and a collosal loss not only to Ondo Kingdom, his place of birth but to the entire state and beyond.

“It is quite sad that Prof. Ademodi left when his services to mankind are mostly needed but we have taken solace in the will of God that he has gone to rest in the bossom of his Lord.
