The 21st Century Entrepreneurship Hub, a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), on Sunday called on youths and women in Sokoto to leverage entrepreneurship for self-reliance and promotion of development in the state.

The Founder of the NGO, Malam Umar Idris, said in an address at the end of a week-long exhibition and activities, that the event was meant to sensitise the youths and women in the state on different business opportunities.

“The participants learnt new ways to grow their businesses. This will help them to have various experiences on how to develop their business.

“Now that Nigeria’s economy is facing another recession, entrepreneurship may just be the bailout from poverty and joblessness for the youth population, many of whom are unemployed.
