Kidnapped Uduak Okoro and her husband Judex Omaka Okoro

Uduak Judex Okoro, the kidnapped wife of the Sun Correspondent in Cross River State and Chairman of the Chapel (Correspondents) has regained her freedom.

She was kidnapped on Tuesday by 8.30 pm around Big Qua town in Calabar Municipal local government area of the State.

The victim (Mrs Okoro) was released on Thursday night at about 11.30 pm after an undisclosed ransom was paid.

Okoro on Friday confirmed the release of his wife.

“Yes, my wife has been released, she is in good health. She was released on Thursday by 11.30 pm in Calabar South local government area of the state. We thank God for her release,” he told newsmen.

Okoro, however, did not mention if a ransom was paid or not.
