Fatima Ganduje-Ajimobi and Gov. Seyi Makinde
By Taiwo Okanlawon
Fatima Ganduje-Ajimobi, who is married to late Isiaka Ajimobi’s son, Idris has taken a swipe at Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde.
According to the daughter of Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State, Seyi Makinde can never surpass the achievements of the late ex-Governor Ajimobi.
Fatima, who is SA to Speaker Gbajabiamila, said this in a tweet in response to a post by Nigerian activist Segun Awosanya aka Segalink on Tuesday.
Awosanya had tweeted, “I don’t know how many people are glad to know that Seyi Makinde, the Governor of Oyo State cannot be guilt-tripped into endorsing a heist wrapped in emotions at the expense of the beleaguered people of Oyo State. I’m personally happy he saw through the shenanigans.”
In her response, however, Fatima tweeted, “Lol. Face with tears of joy half-truth is dangerous sha! SM can never ever ever come close to Ajimobi. Not your mate!!!”

The Ajimobi family has been engaged in a feud with the governor since the death of their patriarch last week.
Ajimobi’s widow, Florence, had last week accused Makinde of abandoning the family, and being insensitive and refusing to condole with the family when Ajimobi died.
The family had also accused the governor of refusing to give them the approval to bury their father on a parcel of land in Ibadan.
Makinde had said the land in question was a subject of court litigation and thus could not allow Ajimobi to be buried there.

Ganduje’s daughter should be waiting for the results of her father’s bad, evils and ungodly deeds in Kano soon insha’Allah. He got gigantic problems in Kano more that what she is witnessing now in Ibadan Ganduje’s end sai Allah
na sentiment go kill the Yoruba’s. People often forget history, go and ask the family of late Gov. Kolapo Ishola how they were treated in 2011 by late Ajimobi. This our God sef, HIM koboko na waya. The family of the late politician must be very careful not to engage the government in roforofo fight. MKO Abiola with his enormous wealth fought Abacha and his business were paralysed.
anyway, in the end, the incumbent Governor bent the rules and allowed the body to be interred in GRA, what if he refused, then Sango Cemetery straightttt.
the body of the dead means nothing, in 60 years time no one will reckon with it, by then almost all (if not all) of the over 40s will be gone.
Where is the burial site of late SB Bakare, Ajananku, Mobolaji Bank Anthony e.t.c……. vanity upon vanity.
just enjoy your life, serve humanity.

Gov. Makinde if you are accusing the late Gov.Ajimobi of stealing, you are also going to steal because all Nigeria Governors/Politicians have stealing in their DNA.I am guessing you might even end up stealing more because of your primitive acquisition of wealth. What you did by not honoring the late Gov. Ajimobi will also come your way at your end.I do hope that you still have a father or some elders in your family to remind you of respecting dead elders.May the soul of Gov.Abiola Ajimobi rest in perfect peace.Amen.
Did you benefit from his government. Did he do any good thing for the Oyo state and at death the family want bury him at stolen ground. That’s hell fire
It is raining, and the rain has not stopped. How can you say it cannot be more that that of yesterday!sb cannot do more than an that is not true. My prayer for the Governor is that he will continue to do the greatest work that is doing with the view to impacting the life of everyone in the state. May God bless all of us including the Governor
He’s not been doing anything and has shown incompetencies since he became the governor. He came in on the altar of Ibadan’s enimity & hypocrisies and the same way he will be voted out due to non-perfomance especially on security.
