American actor, comedian and activist, Terrence Alan Crews popularly known as Terry Crews is currently receiving backlash on Twitter following his tweet about “black supremacy.”

In the tweet, Crews said that to defeat white supremacy, both black and white people must unite, and if not, they risk creating “black supremacy.”

He tweeted; “Defeating White supremacy without White people creates Black supremacy. Equality is the truth. Like it or not, we are all in this together.”

The former professional footballer went on to accuse anyone who finds a problem with his tweet as “black supremist,” after many pointed out using that black supremacy isn’t a valid ideology.

He wrote, “Any Black person who calls me a coon or and Uncle Tom for promoting EQUALITY is a Black Supremist, because they have determined who’s Black and who is not.”

This isn’t the first time Crews has made controversial comments in regards to race. Back in January, Crews discredited Gabrielle Union’s claims of experiencing discrimination during her run on America’s Got Talent arguing that he personally never experienced any of the things she was describing.

He however later apologize.
