The narrative of rape culture has eaten so deep into the minds of rapists that the number of victims on the rise daily is appalling.

Nollywood stars Hilda Dokubo and Tonto Dikeh, including comedienne Realwarripikin took to the streets to protest and seek justice for rape victims.

High profile individuals like Big Brother Africa season 5 winner Uti Nwachukwu, DMW singer Peruzzi and musician Dbanj have all been accused of rape among other citizens.

Taking to Instagram to share a video, Dokubo wrote:

#enoughisenough. Justice is not just ice. Stop throwing the cases and the victims into the freezers until they become ice. We can’t keep burying our children because those who are supposed to be protecting us are busy questioning and blaming the victims.
When those who stood up and demanded justice is counted. Will you be numbered?
What will your number be known for?
