Police in Kogi issue red card for Havencorps, warn Nigerians

The Kogi State Police Command has warned Nigerians against doing any business with Havencorps Loans and Investment Nigeria Ltd.

Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, DSP William Anya issued the warning.

Anya said Havencorps has been cheating, swindling people and involved with other fraudulent activities.

The rogue company has offices in Ajaokuta, Ganaja and Ankpa.

“The Command received a complaints against the Company on the premise that the alleged Company has been in the business of defrauding innocent Nigerians.

“Some of the victims who invested into the Company further alleged that the Staff of the Company disappeared with their money.

“To this end, the Commissioner of Police warns all members of the public to desist from patronizing or dealing with Havencorps Loans and Investment Nigeria Ltd or any of such Companies as it has been tagged a fraudulent venture”. Aya said.

On its website, Havencorps claimed to have been registered by Securities and Exchange Commission as ‘dealer and fund portfolio manager’.

It describes itself as pro-poor in its business orientation.

It also describes its business as ‘online trading of shares, charcoal export and binary options”. The public ought to have been suspicious of all these as the company did not list any name on its website.
