Susan Idoko-Okpe nee Lawani, framed for COVID-19 disease in Benue
The children of Susan Idoko Okpe, the Benue state COVID-19 index case, have called out the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC), to release their mum who has been in the Abuja Isolation center for 57 days now.
Idoko has been having a faceoff with the government since she was allegedly tested positive to coronavirus.
Days ago, Idoko disclosed that she has been in isolation for weeks now without showing any symptoms of the disease and insisted that she does not have the virus.
Reacting to the development, the Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire on Wednesday said Mrs. Idoko had refused to let the NCDC and other medical personnel take her samples, so they can do a final test on her before she is discharged.
In separate posts via their Instagram pages, the children of Mrs.Okpe have cried out, demanding the immediate release of their mother.

What an incredibly insensitive, wicked corrupt and EVIL government.
It has long been established that the Nigerian government is insincere and corrupt. it’s no longer a secret, they quarantine any patient that tests positive to malaria and add such patient to their inflated list of Covid-19 patients.
It’s only evil men that would be holding up someone who is clearly in sound health for their pecuniary interest.
They would rather the Corona virus pandemic never come to an end. To them it’s a veritable path to loot the treasury dry
What an insensitive and overly corrupt regime. What a failed government.
What a situation. I take a stroll. Nonsense.
Until she tests negative, she will not be released from quarantine. It has nothing to do with Nigeria. Even in US,UK or any other country,it is the same. So she is the one keep herself by refusing another test.
Did you say they quarantine people who tested positive for malaria and wrongly label them Coronavirus patients? Then Wike must be the most wicked man Nigeria ever had for arresting and detaining people for nothing. And for locking down Rivers y and pulling down hotels just because of malaria which is not contagious
