The death of a trader in Ojodu Berger area of Lagos, Southwest Nigeria during an encounter with officials of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps, LAGESC, last Friday has sparked off a protest in the area.

The trader was said to have slumped while trying to recover her seized goods from the agency officials and was rushed to the hospital where she later gave up the ghost.

The Baale of Ojodu while addressing the angry traders advised them not to take matters into their own hands.
