Ghana is still ahead of Nigeria in the grim coronavirus statistical race as its tally increased to 5,735 on Sunday.
In contrast, Nigeria had 5,621 cases as at Saturday.
Ghana hit its new figure after the Health Service(GHS) confirmed 97 new cases.
Her recoveries increased to 1,754, GHS said.
It said 294 patients were discharged on Saturday.
However, the death toll hit 29, with one more death overnight.
In spite of easing a partial lockdown, Ghana extended the closure of its entry points till the end of May.
The ban on social gatherings has also been extended over the same period.
