Breaking: Lagos discharges 33 more Coronavirus patients

The Lagos State Government has discharged another 33 Coronavirus patients after they tested negative twice for the virus.

According to the Lagos State Ministry of Health, on its twitter handle, the 33 Coronavirus patients discharged included nine female and 24 male.

They were discharged from the Onikan and Eti-Osa (Landmark) Isolation Centrs to reunite with their families.

Seventeen of the patients were discharged from the Onikan Isolation Centre, while 16 others from the Eti-Osa Isolation Centre.

“33 COVID-19 Lagos patients; 9 female and 24 male; all Nigerians have been discharged from our Isolation facilities at Onikan and Eti-Osa (Landmark) to reunite with the society.

“The patients; 17 from Onikan and 16 from Eti-Osa (Landmark) Isolation Centres have fully recovered and tested negative twice consecutively to COVID-19.

“With this, the number of patients successfully managed and discharged in Lagos has risen to 502,” the ministry said.
