Buhari calls Musiliu Smith over death of his brother

President Muhammadu Buhari, in a telephone call on Thursday, condoled with the Chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC), Alhaji Musiliu Smith, over the death of his elder brother, Dr Mustapha Adepoju Smith.

Malam Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, confirmed this in a statement in Abuja on Thursday.

Shehu quoted the president to have expressed deep sadness after listening to the chairman and former Inspector General of Police explain the key role the elder brother played in the family and his personal development.

The president urged the family to take solace in the fact that the deceased lived a God-fearing life and invested heavily in love.

He prayed that God would forgive the shortcomings of the departed, grant him a peaceful rest and comfort the Smith family.
