He stated that the meeting lasted for several minutes and that the discussion between the leaders was centred on Nigeria’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“During the meeting, President Buhari used the opportunity to brief the American President on the steps that Nigeria is taking to contain the spread of the disease.

  1. Must everything be donated to Nigeria?. But Nigeria claims to be giant of Africa?. Can someone tell me how and why?. I think we have virologists in this same country, what have they been able to come up with?.

    • @Molato, although your concern is very genuine that the country is blessed with abundant human resources in virology and indeed in virtually all fields of human endeavor the problem is that the government has failed dismally to equip the research centers and universities with necessary resources to work with.
Hence, we have buildings and men available but no materials and equipment to carry out research.
It is damning to note that Nigeria has not been able to provide qualitative leadership in West Africa, talk less about the entire continent!
