The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) says it is saddened by the death of Malam Abba Kyari, the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari.

In a letter to Buhari on Sunday, the National President of PFN, Rev. Felix Omobude, commiserated with him, members of the Kyari’s family and friends over the tragic occurrence.

Omobude urged the president and the deceased family to take solace in the fact that Kyari’s record was one of sacrifices to the nation in public service.

He prayed for comfort for the president and members of the Kyari family at this difficult time.

The PFN leader also urged Nigerians to continue to support the initiatives by the government toward the management of COVID-19 pandemic.

He said that this would enable the country to attain full recovery soon so that life could return to normal.

Omobude expressed PFN appreciation to all health workers for the great sacrifice they were making in the fight against the spread of the virus.

He, however, urged Christians to continue to lift the country up in prayers and observe all the hygiene protocols as advised by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and other relevant agencies.
