Britain’s Queen Elizabeth has asked that there be no gun salutes to mark her birthday on Tuesday.
ITV reporter Chris Ship stated this on Twitter.
Chris Ship added that it would be the first time such a request had been made in her 68-year reign.
Queen Elizabeth was born in Mayfair, London, on the 21st of April 1926.
Her full name: Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor.
Queen Elizabeth became head of the Commonwealth and queen regnant of seven independent Commonwealth countries after her father died in February 1952.
She became the first British monarch to reach a Sapphire Jubilee in 2017.
Queen Elizabeth is the longest-lived and longest-reigning British monarch.
She is the longest-serving female head of state in world history, and the world’s oldest living monarch, the longest-reigning current monarch, and oldest and longest-serving current head of state.
