Danilo Vucic, son of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has contracted the coronavirus infection.

The 22-year-old was hospitalised on Wednesday, his dad said.

“My firstborn is infected by the coronavirus and his clinical condition is such that he was admitted to the infectious diseases clinic”, Vucic senior wrote on Instagram.

Danilo Vucic is the oldest of President Vucic’s three children.

While answering a question on the outbreak of the infection, President Vucic pointed out that his three children have applied as volunteers.

They were expected to help out elderly people by making sure the elderly have all the necessities they need.

Serbia has over 2,000 confirmed coronavirus cases.
