Confirmed coronavirus cases in Africa have exceeded 10,000.
This is according to latest figures published by Africa CDC.
Africa now has 10,075 confirmed cases and 487 deaths across 52 countries.
Some 913 people infected with the COVID-19 have also recovered, Africa CDC said.
Figures showed that more than 897 new confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported on Monday.
This took confirmed cases from 9,178 to 10,075.
The death toll increased from 414 to 487.
