Ghana has extended the closure of all of its borders for two more weeks, an official said.

“This is to curtail the importation of COVID-19 cases and help us focus on the enhanced tracing and testing programme within the country”, said the Minister for Information Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah.

Ghana announced the closure of its entry points from March 17, to prevent the further import of COVID-19 cases into the country.
