The Nigerian Government has taken delivery of large supply of medical equipment from Turkey to battle rampaging Coronavirus pandemic.

Currently, the nation’s Coronavirus cases have risen amidst lockdown in several states.

Current Coronavirus cases in Nigeria stood at 224 as at Sunday, with Lagos as the epicentre of the dreadful disease.

Air Peace Airline took delivery of the medical supplies from Turkey on Saturday.

The Airline tweeted on Sunday, saying “COVID-19: Air Peace on Saturday, April 4, 2020 delivered medical supplies from Turkey, on behalf of the Federal Government of Nigeria.

“We support every effort geared towards curbing the spread of this disease.”
