Ondo State Commissioner of Police, CP Undie Adie, on Wednesday, warned residents to adhere to the stay-at-home directives of the state government in their interest or risk arrest.

Adie, who gave the warning in a statement by the Command’s PRO, ASP Tee-Leo Ikoro, on Wednesday in Akure, said that the warning became necessary following noncompliance in some places.

He said that his visit to some notable points and markets within Akure metropolis showed that people were not heeding the directives.

Adie explained that the command would not watch the people of the state inviting death to themselves and their loved ones.
