Saudi Arabia reported 92 new cases of coronavirus on Friday, increasing the tally of cases in the Kingdom to 1104.

The health ministry said 82 of the new cases were people, who had direct contact with already infected patients.

Ten were passengers returning from abroad.

They were immediately quarantined, the ministry said, according to a Gulf News report.

Out of the 92 new cases, Riyadh reported 46, Madinah 19, Qatif 10.

Jeddah reported 7 cases, Dammam 4, Dhahran and Buraydah two each.

Hufof and Khobar reported one case each.

The kingdom’s Ministry of Education said students will continue distant learning after the suspension of schools and universities.

“Our top priority now is to help students complete the academic year.

“We call on all students to take distance learning seriously and on parents to follow up on their children,” the ministry said.
