Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu has tested negative for the Coronavirus. Akeredolu who announced yesterday he had submitted himself for the test reported back today that he was negative.
State commissioner for health, Agboola Ajayi, informed him about the result of the test.
Akeredolu then shared the good news on Twitter:
"Good morning sir. The result is negative. Congratulations your Excellency"

“Our fight to protect the lives of our citizens continues. Huge thanks to all front line key workers fighting to protect our people.”, Akeredolu added.
Akeredolu was the third governor to go public with his coronavirus status.
Governor Gboyega Oyetola told a news conference in Osogbo on Wednesday that he and his wife tested negative to the virus.
But Bauchi governor, Bala Mohammed reported he was positive. He is now in quarantine.
President Buhari and Vice President Osinbajo were also reported to be negative, while Buhari’s chief of staff is being treated for the virus.
