Nollywood Actress Sola Kosoko joined the battle against coronavirus.

Sola Kosoko, the daughter of veteran actor Jide Kosoko, took to her Instagram handle to sensitize Nigerians on the reality of COVID-19 and the preventive measures to adopt.

She urged Nigerians to adhere to the preventive measures stated by the health officials like washing of hands, maintaining personal hygiene, social distancing and more.

Sola Kosoko wrote: “Hello everyone. It is no longer news that Coronavirus is real, please let us comply with all the directives of our health officials and the government.

” Let us maintain a high level of hygiene; we shall surely win this war by God’s grace,” she said.

However, the number of confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria has risen to 46 out of which two have been discharged and one death recorded.

Nigerian Government had advised residents of Abuja and Lagos, the two cities which are hardest hit by coronavirus, to stay at home “until further advice is given.”

All international airports in the country have stopped welcoming international flights and suspended its visa-on-arrival program. All train passenger services have also been shut until further notice.

According to an AFP tally on Monday evening, the virus has infected over 361, 510 persons worldwide, killing, at least, 16, 146.

Italy, which recorded its first coronavirus death in February, now has more fatalities than China with 6,077, as well as having 63,927 declared infections with 7,432 recoveries.
