The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control said the coronavirus cases in the country increased from 42 to 44 on Tuesday.
Two NCDC confirmed two new cases in Abuja and Bauchi.
“2 new cases of #COVID19 have been confirmed in Nigeria: 1 in FCT and 1 in Bauchi
“The cases have travel history to Germany and the UK.
“As at 06:25 pm on 24th March, there are 44 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria. 2 have been discharged with 1 death,” the NCDC tweeted.

The NCDC has never revealed the identity of the victims.
However, the new confirmed cases came amidst reports that Malam Abba Kyari, Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari tested positive in Abuja.
Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi also tested positive to the virus.
While the virus hit Kyari yesterday, Bala’s positive status was confirmed today.
Kyari has a travel history to Germany. He visited between 7 and 14 March this year, along with Minister of Power, Engineer Mamman Sale.
Governor Bala said he met Mohammed Abubakar, Atiku’s son on an Aero Contractors flight.
It could not be confirmed if he was the same person who had a prior visit to UK before meeting Abubakar.
Abubakar tested positive to the virus on Sunday.
