Two new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Nigeria, one each in Lagos and neighbouring Ogun, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control,NCDC said.
NCDC gave the update on its Twitter handle on Tuesday afternoon.
“One case is a returning traveler. The second case is contact of a previously confirmed case
“As at 1pm on March 24, there are 42 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria-2 discharged, 1 death”, the NCDC said.

Out of the 42 confirmed cases, Lagos leads with 29, Abuja 7, Ogun 3, Ekiti 1, Oyo 1 and Edo 1.
