Coronavirus hits Abuja; FIRS staff, two others test positive.

Three persons have tested positive to COVID-19 in Nigeria’s capital, Abuja, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control said on Saturday.

In total, the NCDC said 10 new cases have been confirmed in Nigeria, with 7 new ones in Lagos.

The index case in Abuja was one of the passengers on the British Airways flight that landed on March 13, 2020. He is an official of the Federal Inland Revenue Service.

“All new cases have mild to moderate symptoms, and are being managed at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital and Infectious Disease Hospital, Lagos.

“We urge the public to remain calm and adhere to social distancing and other measures in place”, the NCDC tweeted.
