A Member representing Abeokuta North, Odeda and Obafemi Owode Federal constituency at the House of Representatives, Olumide Osoba,has empowered about 120 members of his constituency with generators, sewing machines, grinding machines and other items.

He also commissioned schools within his constituency.

The son of former governor Segun Osoba maintained that the gesture was an effort to give back to his people that elected him during the electioneering period in the state.

He donated the items to the beneficiaries on Saturday during a town hall meeting held at his father’s house in Abeokuta, Ogun state.

Olumide, while speaking with newsmen submitted that he gave those items to his people in order to help them make a living for themselves and their families.

“Today, we are empowering 120 members of my constituency with sewing machines, generators, grinding machines and motorcycles. This is part of my promises during 2019 electioneering period that I will empower my constituents so you can see now that am fulfilling the promises to my people”, he announced.

He also promised to build vocational training center for each local government where youths can learn different trade.

He therefore urged the beneficiaries to make proper use of the materials donated to them.
