Members of the Eko Club of Nigeria have unanimously showered encomiums on the club’s president, Dr Ade Dosunmu, on what they regarded as his unique achievement and determination to take the club to the next level.
Dosunmu is credited with the renewed culture of robust idea generation and mutual respect among members which they claimed had engendered more progressive and harmonious environment around the club.
Making the assertions were members during its year 2020 Annual General Meeting of the club that was held recently at the premises of the Club in Surulere, Lagos.
Members expressed joy in the tempo of social activities witnessed in the club during the period under review, adding that it has been very encouraging.
According to them, the creation of conducive and decent atmosphere to relax and socialize is a factor that has made his administration unique.
“The completion of Oba of Lagos Sports Hall that has been abandoned for close to 6 years is another laudable achievement of the incumbent President. Another worthy and indelible legacy that would even outlive the present administration of Dr Dosunmu is his intention to construct a befitting pools and gardens for use of members and their families and also outsiders for a fee”, the club secretary’s speech read.
In his remark, Ade Dosunmu, expressed appreciation to the entire members of the club for their cooperation and support for the club, adding that without their support, nothing could be achieved.
