President Muhammadu Buhari has urged the son of Inspector General of Police and his wife, daughter of Abdullahi Goje, a top shot in the Nigerian Ports Authority, to do all they can to make their union work.
Buhari sent the message on Saturday to Hassan Mohammed Adamu, an Assistant Superintendent of Police and his wife, Shamsiyya Abdullahi Goje.
Chief of staff, Abba Kyari delivered the message.
Buhari described marriage as one of the greatest blessings of life.
He told the groom that by choosing Shamsiyya as his wife, he has made one of the most important decisions of his life.
“It is important that you face the future together. You must make the relationship work.”
Two Senior Special Assistants to the President, Sarki Abba and Garba Shehu, Personal Physician to the President, Dr Suhayb Rafindadi, Permanent Secretary, State House, Jalal Arabi, Director General of National Intelligence Agency, Ambassador Ahmed Rufai Abubakar and State Chief of Protocol, Ambassador Lawal Kazaure made the president’s delegation to the event.
