Ogun State Police Command has paraded an Okada rider, Olanrewaju Adeyinka for killing his step-brother, Gabriel Adeyinka over placement of parrot.

Olanrewaju, 40, who was paraded along with other criminals told our reporter after being paraded by the Commissioner of Police, CP Kenneth Ebrimson that he did not intentionally killed his brother over the placement of the parrot but that Gabriel was the first to start the quarrel which he tried to avoid because he just came back from work.

“My brother came home with this cage of parrot and put it on the table in the sitting room, so I told him not to put it on the table that he should keep it somewhere else instead he picked a quarrel with me.

“People around us interfered that i should leave him, may be he is drunk, so I went to my room because I just came back from work, while I was trying to sleep, he started hitting and throwing chair, planks on my window which broke the puffers, still I did not do anything until when I decided to go upstairs to report to our older ones that our path crossed and we started fighting again,” he narrated.
