Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan are expected to join his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, on Monday for the couple’s final event before they step back from royal duties.
The couple is scheduled to join the queen and other British royals at a ceremony in London’s Westminster Abbey to mark Commonwealth Day.
They announced in January that they planned to step back from royal duties and lead a more independent, private life based mainly in Canada.
Foreign Secretary, Dominic Raab in a statement to mark Commonwealth Day said the diversity of the commonwealth span six continents and makes up a fifth of all global trade.
“As an institution uniting 2.4 billion people across 54 countries, the Commonwealth is unique in the diversity of its partnerships.
“We are tackling some of the largest global challenges through the Commonwealth, from combating climate change to preventing cybercrime, and creating a brighter future for the next generation,’’ Raab said.
