Organizing committee of the 10th Beijing International Film Festival on Sunday announced postponement of the annual festival till further notice.
The committee explained that the festival, scheduled to hold between April 19 and 26, would be deferred in consideration of the safety and health of all the guests, participants and the public, and to support the overall epidemic prevention work in the city.
It, therefore, apologised for any inconvenience caused by the postponement, adding that new date would be announced soon.
