Doctors at the General Hospital, Odan, Lagos Island, told the family that Fatimo would need N15m for kidney transplant.

Fatimo’s father, Mr. Yusuf Yinus from Yobe State, said he decided to cry out to Dangote for help because he had exhausted his little savings and even borrowed to continue to foot the bills of the three times a week dialysis session at a cost of N75,000 per week to keep her alive pending the transplant.

“It happened in April, 2019 when Fatimo’s body started swelling up and we rushed her to the General Hospital, Odan, Lagos Island for treatment.

“And after several tests by the doctor, they broke the sad news that Fatimo was suffering from end stage renal failure and they placed her on three times a week hemodialysis session at a cost of N300, 000 per
month till we are able to raise about N15m for the kidney transplant.
