Borno Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum has approved the posting of 31 special advisers recently sworn-in, the Governor’s spokesman, Malam Isa Gusau said.

Gusau on Saturday released a list of the advisers and their postings.

According to Gusau’s statement, Governor Zulum charged all advisers to brace up for serious work that should contribute to addressing critical challenges facing state.

Among the challenges are the ongoing efforts to find enduring peace, bold and ambitious resettlement of internally displaced persons and refugees, restoration of livelihoods and basic social services in communities, and full economic recovery.

Governor Zulum expressed confidence in the special advisers and looked forward to unique, realistic and community-based ideas that will hasten the delivery good governance to the resilient people of Borno state.

Among the 31 special advisers are two non-indigenes, Chief Kester Ogualili and Alhaji Alao Hassan Yusuf, both assigned the portfolios of special advisers, community relations.
