Borno state Governor, Prof Babagana Umara Zulum, on Wednesday night visited the victims of the fresh Boko Haram attacks in Maiduguri, Borno state.

Shortly after President Buhari left the state after his sympathy visit, suspected Boko Haram members launched a fresh attack on residents of Damboa road around Maiduguri NNPC depot.

It is believed that a rocket-propelled grenade was launched by Boko haram insurgent from an unknown distance and it fell on a house in Jiddari injuring occupants.

The governor visited the state Specialist Hospital, Maiduguri, where those injured were admitted. He directed the settlement of their medical bills.
