Massive crowd protests Supreme Court’s judgment in Imo
Massive protest rocked Imo State on Wednesday as thousands of supporters of ousted governor, Emeka Ihedioha took over the streets demanding that the Supreme Court reverse itself and return their man as duly elected governor.
The apex court had in a unanimous judgement nullified the election of Ihedioha and declared Hope Uzodinma of the All Progressives Congress, APC, winner of the governorship poll held in February last year.
Uzodinma has since been sworn in and Ihedioha had approached the Supreme Court seeking the apex court’s reversion of its judgment.
After Wednesday’s protest, Ihedioha displayed photos of the protest on his twitter handle, saying that “Today, concerned citizens of our State took to the streets yet again to carry on with their demand for justice.
“I encourage our people to continue to be peaceful and law abiding, as we remain firm in our resolve to strengthen our democracy.”

Jasper, it is over just s June 12 was over and is over. Buhari defeated you badly and we told you before election.
Better keep quiet. Wait for four years. Yet we shall win even more states. PDP is gone.
Buhari and his technical chief justice are on the verge of setting Nigeria on fire. Hopefully they will hearken to the people and save Nigeria needless loss of lives.
In a democratic setup, the right to choose who governs lie with the people, not by imposition, compulsive and obnoxious ruling of a biased judiciary.
What a sham and disgraceful ruling. What a mockery of the judicial system. What a shame.
What a failed government. What a disgrace. What a situation. I take a stroll. Nonsense.
