Nigerian Afro-pop singer, David ‘Davido’ Adeleke’s sophomore album, “A Good Time” has been certified platinum by the Recording Industry of South Africa three months after the project was released.
The singer also received plaques for singles off his album which was released in November 2019. His song ‘Blow My Mind’ featuring Chris Brown was certified platinum while ‘Risky’ featuring Popcaan went double platinum.
Risky crooner took to his Instagram page to celebrate his latest achievement, sharing a video of him receiving his plaques to his 15million followers.
”A Good Time” which dropped on November 22nd, 2019, featured seventeen tracks, with ten of the songs being solo works of Davido, while the other seven were collaborative efforts with a rich selection of local and international talents.
The collaborations featured Popcaan, Peruzzi, Zlatan, Naira Marley, WurlD, Summer Walker, Chris Brown, Gunna, Dremo, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Yonda. While prominent music producers on the album include Shizzi, Kiddominant, Speroach Beatz, Tekno, etc.

Davido while unveiling the cover art penned down an emotional story about his journey through life.
He recounted the sad story of how he lost his mom and other loved ones, he also shared his joy about his fiancée, Chioma, his daughters, Imade and Hailey and his son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.
The album is available on multiple music streaming platforms worldwide and still receiving incredible reception from music lovers that have had their good time in it.

Congratulations to him. If you asked me, I will say that I am not surprised because Davido is such a hardworking music artist I admire alot. I pray that more of his albums will go to an even higher level than this. Congrats once again to the only singer that his lyrics blow my mind.
