President Muhammadu Buhari’s well-kept behind-the-scene ebullient image has been in full display in Addis-Ababa, during the 33rd Ordinary Session of the African Union.
In all his interactions during the trip, apart from the opening session of the summit, where he wore his old military no-nonsense, stern visage, Buhari is seen everywhere else cracking smiles or making others around him to do so.
He was all smiles when he met one of his predecessors Olusegun Obasanjo and neighbouring President Issoufou of Niger. The Nigerian leader was cheerful too at the meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
President Buhari will begin a state visit to Ethiopia on Monday.
