Rotary District 3020 India, together with Rotary District 9110 Nigeria is organising a Free Surgical Mission in Nigeria.
The Free Surgical Mission, which was initiated last year, has now been granted final approval by The Rotary Foundation, according to the District 9110 Free Surgical Mission Coordinator, Dr. Femi Akodu.
The free surgeries which will be conducted on registered candidates will include:Plastic Surgeries, Cleft lip, contractures from burns, keloids, and hypertrophic scars.
There will also be general surgeries on Hernia, Hemorrhoids, lumps, and Gall bladder stones; Orthopaedic Surgeries to correct Limb deformities corrective surgeries and Dental surgeries for caries, dental abscess, gingivitis, retained primary teeth, teeth fracture, maligned teeth, and discoloured teeth.
