Hanan Buhari in Bauchi
Nigerians on Twitter have expressed outrage after President Buhari’s daughter Hanan was flown in a presidential jet for a private photoshoot of an arranged durbar.
The certified creative photographer and the youngest daughter of Buhari landed in Bauchi on Thursday for the durbar organized just for her photographic pleasure by the Emir of Bauchi, Rilwanu Adamu, at his palace.
Hanan was also accorded the courtesy that would have been accorded her mother Aisha, as she was received at the Tafawa Balewa Airport by Bauchi’s First Lady and other government officials
The Daily Nigerian showed Hanan clicking away during the Durbar.
Miss Buhari’s visit on presidential jet has triggered a Twitter storm with most people condemning the use of the Nigerian Airforce aircraft for “personal use” and questioning Buhari’s integrity.
Read some of the reactions:
There’s nothing in this life that’s ever going to justify or normalize Hanan Buhari’s use of the Presidential jet for private trip, not even the President is within the law allowed to useless the taxpayers money on personal or private purposes. But BMC boys would say it’s okay.

So Hanan Buhari is now cruising with our Presidential flight. Though we were told in 2016 that there was a plan to sell them inorder to reduce cost, but now his daughter, despite the fact that he's regarded as the "Man of Integrity" is using one of them. pic.twitter.com/yuleaX7k4E

@ Olumid. Don’t mind them jare. When the kids of the Queen of England visited Nigeria several times and flew in England’s Royal Jet and was met at arrival by the most prominent people in Naija government, nothing was wrong with that. Is there a provision for the President’s household to fly in the presidential jet or not? She flew for her work and good cause, what about those that used it to fly (mistresses) all over the continent? That is prefarable abi? People should go and sit down.
time (times), houshold (household)
Guy the comparison you made between England and Nigeria is so simplistic ..fact remains that the use of Nigerian Presidential Jet as reported is reprehensible, unjustifiable and runs contrary to Mr Presidents flaunted posture of humility.. abeg let us not justify the unjustifiable however na them time jare, nothing spoil!
Jesus once said, “anyone who has not done this before should throw the first stone.” Anyone in Nigeria who will not do worse than that should raise his or hand up. After all the most expensive school is owned by a clergy man in Nigeria.
History will never be fair with Buhari.
Before coming to power, he promised to sell off most of the presidential jets.
Fast forward to 5 years, General Buhari has made presidential jet available to the office of the last daughter with full security, from DSS to men of Nigerian air Force at the expense of Nigerian tax payers.
What a wasteful ruler without integrity. What a failed government. What a huge mistake. what a situation. I take a stroll. Nonsense.
So, she should take okada?
