  • The problem with Nigeria is corruption, the problem with the image of Nigeria is corruption. The problem with Nigeria is the failure of law and order and fact that the anti corruption institution's are themselves enmeshed in the corruption they are set to fight. No light but you are compelled to pay for electricity you did not consume. No road, the roads we have are death traps, no public schools you have to get private school. No security you have to provide for your self. The politicians now enjoy immunity with the cover of Politically exposed person. Efcc and police don't go after them anymore. A country that is responsive to building a decent society, would not channel effort to tackling Ills that enrich its citizens and affect people in other countries. Take sale of arms as example and providing safe haven for laundering of money stolen from third world countries. Yahoo is solving the problem of cultism in Nigerian universities and should have been controlled and not to start sending these boys to jail. Perhaps when the cultism must have been wiped out from our schools then we move against the activities of the yahoo boys. In China the government will tolerate their citizens cheating a foreigner but not kill. In USA UK and Europe you can allow illicit funds in but difficult to let it leave the system. The recent fraud against Nigeria resulting in $9.6b liability is a case in point.

  • What is sauce for the goose, should be sauce for the gander, Efcc are trying to redeem the country's image, but they should do it holistically. It shouldn't be one sided , so that the country will not die.

  • How I wish EFCC would go after politicians like this and charge them to court. A former senator stole more than what 100 Yahoo boys would steal in their life time.

In rigging elections and vote buying, can you imagine billions of naira that go Into that, EFCC boss was even afraid to respond to bullion van money.

I am not supporting Yahoo guys, they are thieves and soiling the image of the country outside there but I am also not happy that EFCC considers some people too big to be investigated.
