Adams Oshiohmole, National Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC)
By Jethro Ibileke
National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, on Tuesday lamented how the Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shaibu, allegedly betrayed him.
Oshiomhole and Shaibu are cousins, whose father, it was alleged, brought Oshiomhole up in the northern part of the country.
He disclosed this during a solidarity visit by his supporters at his country home, in Iyamho, Etsako West Local Government area of the state.
Oshiomhole, who expressed disgust over the crisis that has engulfed the state chapter of the party, blamed Shaibu, whom he called “my son,” and some other persons from his local government area, for betraying him.
He, however, urged the people to continue to embrace peace and not allow themselves to be used for the wrong reasons because of money.
According to him; “It is about the truth, we have a President who believes in the truth, who believes in fairness, who believes in justice, who believes that government should fight for the poor.
“There is nothing I have done in life that I didn’t have to fight but as you can see by the special grace of God, there is no fight that I was forced into that I have not prevailed because I do not go out of my way to look for trouble. I actually do my best to make peace, but if it fails, God will give the enablement to stand and defend the truth.
“The only thing I will say today to anyone who is here, who is an agent of my son; when I talk of my son, I’m talking of Philip Shiabu, who now thinks that his own political future requires that he attacks me and import thugs to disgrace me in my village.”
The APC national chairman advised his supporters to continue to support the government of President Muhammadu Buhari, who he said stood for truth and justice.

Hmmmm! Father Comrade, what goes around comes around. Was is not this same ‘son’ of yours that you used to intimidate and cow everyone in 2016? Now he has turned on you. What a pity? Well he is still your son. You go bear am. Abi you wan ‘deson’ am?
Baba Oshio, let me start by congratulating you on the success recorded in Kogi and Bayelsa states in the recent elections.Gradually, the clock is twinkling towards Edo .You see, you dont need to shout with Shaibu and or Obaseki on the pages of newspapaers. You are more important than that. When the times come, we will saperate boys from the men. You just need to give them Ambode treatment ,that is all.Even now, I expect Obaseki to see the hand writing on the wall with Ize -iyamu coming back to APC.I pity someone who would bite his fingers after APC primary early next year,by then it will be too late for them to realise that OGA na MASTER
Oshiomhole the serial betrayal merchant, screaming how Shuaibu betrayed him.
What a man who refused to look in the mirror.
The other day, Tinubu was speaking against corruption. How soon he forgot about the 2 bullion vans.
What a political pestilence. What a situation. I take a stroll. Nonsense.
Osho you caused it all. When you were the governor, did anyone interfere in your governement? Leave Obaseki and Shaibu alone for God’s sake
Oshio, it wasn’t too long when you collaborated in the process of throwing John Odigie Oyegun under the bus. You went forward to supplant and eventually took over his office. Looks like you are stewing in your own juice now. Please take heart. Odigie Oyegun must have been humiliated and eventually broken hearted as he took the bow out. Some of the same followers you used are turning back at you for effect. Weep not brother, what goes around surely comes around. The payback only appears all too soon, please roll with it. Incidentally, your troublers are determined and seemingly relentless in this pursuit.
This man is born wicked and unrepentant. He claimed to be a Christian for which he is not.
Power by any means
