Top Nigerian journalist, Babajide Kolade-Otitoju has taken to social media to share his frustrations over the disturbing reports he received from different polling units at the Kano supplementary election.

The TVC top journalist described politicians involved in disrupting election with thugs as shameless, adding that their actions frustrate the efforts made by the authorities to ensure a peaceful election.

Former Senate President David Mark had earlier condemned the notion of inconclusive elections, describing it as unhealthy for Nigeria’s democracy. He said politicians will capitalize on this to disrupt elections if their party is losing.

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) also called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to cancel the Kano supplementary election.
