The Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), President Muhammadu Buhari, has been declared winner of the Saturday’s presidential poll in Ogun state with 281,762 votes.

The state Collation Officer, Prof. Joseph Adeola, announced the result at the National Collation Centre in Abuja on Tuesday.
Adeola said the Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar scored 194,655 votes to place second.

He said Mr Akihimmien Isibor of the Grassroots Development Party of Nigeria (GDPN) polled 1, 258 votes.

Adeola, who is also the Vice Chancellor, Federal University of Technology (FUTA), Akure, said the total number of registered voters in the state is 236,887, total vote cast was 605,938, and total valid votes was 564,256.

He, however, said election was cancelled in 11 Polling units which cut across six Local Government Areas (LGAs) of the state having a voting population of 9,680.
