Operatives of the Lagos-based Rapid Response Squad (RRS) have smashed a gang of robbers known as WAZOBIA in Lagos.
The gang, according to the RRS in a tweet on Monday, specialises in robbing passersby at College Road, Ogba with dangerous weapons.
Three of the suspects arrested earlier led RRS operatives to their hideout where the others were arrested.
”RRS operatives have arrested the “wazobia” gang that specialize in robbing passers-by at College road, Ogba. The diversity in their ethnicity & language was never a barrier to them.
3 of the members were arrested at first before leading us to the rest of them,” RRS tweeted.
