How Kaffy Uses Rain

For those who witnessed the first rain in 2019, you must be excited, except if you are the type who doesn’t like it raining.

It rained in some parts of Lagos today and dance instructor Kaffy was among the lucky ones who experienced the heavy downpour.

The dancer used the rain to her advantage by exercising, cleaning her compound with a brush as she got drenched while at it, giving credit to ”Mama Surulere” for teaching her how to do chores in the rain.

As I stepped in the rain today to take advantage of nature’s downpour using it to my advantage to enable me wash out the pavedstones in my compound I could Not help but remember how this used to be some form of punishment while growing up especially in mummy Surulere’s house . To me then mummy was being wicked esp with her timing . I also remember converting that negative energy positively by using all her chores esp the ones she mischievously sent me on as a form of exercise. Mummy surulere is a neat freak you can’t be filthy living with her.Over 15 years down the line I realize mummy wasn’t being wicked ,all na training ! And it has followed me to my home . Thank you Mummy Surulere 😘!
