  • stop focusing on the money spent or else you wont see the accomplishments of the church, the conversion of souls and the reconciliation of Gods people back to him,how the captives of the devil are liberated. you focus too much on the irrelevant so you cant see why this construction are made. its very visible to the blind that when there are more people in a house ,more space have to be created to accommodate more members of the house.the house hold of God keeps increasing and if its not your joy when its heavens joy then you are a rebel to the throne.

    • So how does that become a necessary condition not to have a large place of worship . Do you know how a church is orgqnised A man can receive nothing unless it is given to him from above. You should have inquired and toget yoursef well informed before comming public, else you would have said thank you for the good work you are doing.

  • Nigeria is the only nation on earth where so much evil multiplies as we invest in churches and Mosques. Is it not a shame? China keeps producing millionaires and billionaires by the day because they have good and focused government. In the case of Nigeria, the high and mighty politicians who use christianity as a smokescreen come to donate stolen money to the house of God, and pastors give them all the blessings they can utter with their deceitful lips. May God's wrath and judgment not fall upon these so called ministers of God, be they Anglicans, Catholics, pentecostals and so on. It is a paradox that in this nation where you have abundant ritualists, robbers, kidnappers, corrupt civil servants, 10% kick-backers, and so on, there is a church in every nook and cranny of the society. What are these merchants of faith preaching and practicing? Shame on you.

    • @ Joseph Ogbonna: you have captured it all in TRUTH & LIGHT! Religiosity is the co-bane of Nigeria's development. All we have to show for our decades of existence are mega churches amidst non-existent education, healthcare, agriculture, affordable housing. Isn't it ironic that we Nigerian Christians almost entirely depend on the Chinese (pagans) for our survival? #ReasonAndLiveCurious

    • I agree with this writer the scripture is very clear, in the last days people will be lovers of themselves and thoroughly ungodly holding a form of religion but denying the power of God.
Prosperity preachers are merchants of Christianity. The coming of the Lord will sudden and unexpected like the parable of the ten virgins. May God help us to prepare for the Second coming of the Lord.
